I’ve added a new category called gardening. Certainly it’s an integral part of macrobiotics, and a very interesting experiment for those of us who haven’t done it before. For instance I’m amazed how much you can tell about the plant just by how the seeds look. I knew cabbage and collards were both “cruciforous” but never thought about it too much, until I planted some of each.
